Analisis Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Fiqih Pada Madrasah Diniyah Pp Syaichona Cholil Putri Balikpapan

This study examines the implementation of fiqh learning methods at Madrasah Diniyah Showlatiyah Putri of Pondok Pesantren Syaichona Cholil Balikpapan. The dominant instructional approach is the traditional pengajian kitab kuning, in which teachers read classical texts, students follow and analyze the content in their own books, and further explanation is provided by the instructor. The learning process is concluded with discussion or question and-answer sessions. End-of-semester evaluations consist of written examinations and practical assessments. Employing a qualitative case study approach with participatory observation and semi-structured interviews, the findings reveal that the combination of kitab kuning instruction and lecture-based delivery remains effective for transmitting textual knowledge and legal reasoning. However, the learning model tends to be teacher-centered, resulting in limited opportunities for students to develop critical thinking and contextual application skills. The study recommends strengthening structured discussions, integrating locally relevant case-based worksheets, and diversifying assessment instruments to more proportionally measure cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies.
